I am a maître de conférences at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France and a researcher at Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique [permanent position since september 2010].
My research topic is the dynamics of planetary atmospheres. I have been focussing on small-scale atmospheric phenomena on Mars, but I am also starting a new project about giant planets and their atmospheric circulations. I work with modeling (global climate models, mesoscale models, turbulence-resolving models) and observations (remote sensing, in-situ).
Short Vitae
- In 2009/2010, I was a post-doc at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, The Open University, United Kingdom with Stephen R. Lewis. In spring 2010, I visited Instituto de Astrofisica de Andalucia, Granada, Spain during two months on a grant from Junta de Andalucia.
- In 2008, I completed the PhD degree from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Atmospheric Physics under the supervision of François Forget at LMD, France. I received the 2009 award "Best Thesis in Earth, Planetary and Space Sciences" from Fondation EADS.
- In 2005, I obtained a MSc degree from UPMC in climate science, atmospheric physics and remote sensing. I also hold a degree from Ecole Polytechnique (X2000) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
